About WODS
The Waterloo Organization of Disc Sports (WODS) is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers with the purpose of providing disc sports opportunities to the Waterloo Region, with a focus on ultimate frisbee. WODS was established in 2003 by a small group of local disc enthusiasts, and is the 4th largest disc club in Ontario.
During a typical year, WODS runs 10+ adult leagues, 2 annual tournaments, a youth program that supports more than 120 youth aged 3-15, and a number of skills clinics. Additionally, WODS supports several local competitive touring teams, who travel throughout Ontario and Canada to represent Waterloo Region.
We’d love to see you on the field! We run leagues year-round, learn how you can get in the game!

Lightning (30-30 Rule)
If you can count thirty stalls after you see lightning and before you hear thunder, then the lightning is far enough away (at least 10 km) that you can continue to play your game.
If the lightning is ‘closer’ than thirty stall counts, you should immediately discontinue play and seek appropriate cover quickly.
