WODS will be running three adult leagues for the summer in 2024:
- a Recreational/Intermediate Mixed 7’s on Tuesdays
- an All Skill Mixed HAT 4’s league on Wednesdays, and
- an Intermediate/Competitive Mixed 7’s on Thursdays.
Tuesdays: Adult Recreational/Intermediate League Format and Information
- May 21 – August 27 (15 week season)
- Co-ed 7v7 with Gender Rule A (ABBA Format)
- Team registration
- Two hour games (starting at 6:30pm)
- Cost: $1300 / team ($1400 after May 6th)
- Location: Kiwanis Park in Kitchener

Wednesdays: All Skill Mixed HAT 4’s League Format and Information
- May 22 – August 28 (15 week season) broken into three 5 week sessions
- Register for all 3 sessions or individual sessions
- Session 1: May 22 to June 19 (5 weeks)
- Session 2: June 26 to July 24 (5 weeks)
- Session 3: July 31 to August 28 (5 weeks)
- Co-ed 4v4 (gender ratio TBD based on registration)
- Individual registration (all skill levels are welcome)
- This league is being run with the intention of having team parity and providing opportunities to learn, develop skills, and compete. Teams will be mixed up before the start of each 5 week session to maximize playing opportunities.
- One and a half hour games (6:30pm-8:00pm)
- Cost: $50 / player (all three 5 week sessions) or $20 per 5 week session

Thursdays: Adult Intermediate/Competitive League Format and Information
- May 23 – August 29 (15 week season)

Payment:
- Please e-transfer payments to treasurer@wods.ca after registering
- Fee assistance is available for players who would like to participate in WODS’ league programs but who may not have the financial means to do so. Please contact our president at president@wods.ca for more information.
Registration:
- Closes one week prior to each league’s start date (or when leagues are full).
- Participants must be at least 18 years old as of each league’s start date. Individuals under this age may contact leagues@wods.ca to discuss an exception. (Note that the Tuesday league offers youth 15 years and older an opportunity to play)
- We have updated our waivers. All participants are required to review them carefully and complete them prior to registration (you must use the links to sign the waivers before you can see the registration link).
Captains’ Information
- Captains will be contacted to attend a captains’ information meeting before the league begins. If a captain cannot attend, they are asked to send a delegate in their place.
- In order to continue growing the sport in Waterloo Region, and to support new members joining WODS, captains are encouraged to contact the leagues director for a list of available individual players to add to their rosters, particularly for the Tuesday league.
